Privacy Policy
Effective October 2026
What we collect
Your account details (email, username, display name, avatar), the activity that makes auctions work (bids, watches, wins, messages, reviews), and standard technical logs. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive the name, email, and avatar those providers share.
What we use it for
Running auctions: showing live bids, notifying you when you are outbid, processing payments, computing XP and leaderboards, and preventing fraud. We send transactional email (outbid alerts, win notices, receipts) and nothing else unless you opt in.
Payments
Card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. BidNasty never sees or stores card numbers.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. Bidder identity on a lot is visible only as your public username, and stealth bids hide even that.
Your controls
Edit your profile and notification preferences from the dashboard. To delete your account and its data, contact support@bidnasty.com — deletion removes your profile and personal data; completed transaction records are retained where the law requires.
Cookies
We use the cookies required to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
